Women Leaders in the Bible: Role Models for Today
So many female figures in the Bible are known not by their name but their relationship to a male, i.e. “Peter’s mother-in-law”. Many of these women played important leadership roles in their communities and country. That’s why we have produced this special talk on Women Leaders in the Bible, who are role models for today. The run time is approximately 70 minutes.
This talk outlines five aspects of leadership used widely in organizations today, then identifies how these competencies were used by five women leaders in the Bible in both the Old and New Testaments. We also look at Christ Jesus’ leadership in light of these five competencies.
An additional focus is on how we can bring these leadership qualities to our lives today, whether in business, our communities, churches, or families. How do these women leaders in the Bible set an example for us today?
