BibleRoads’ 12-part video series of the Holy Land provides both a detailed virtual tour and a Biblical study.

Besides exploring the important sites and locations throughout Israel, it looks at Biblical text and at the Biblical figures referenced, thus enabling us to deepen our understanding of Biblical truths that can bless our lives.

Here is how St. Luke put it: “Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things about himself in all the scriptures. . . . Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures” (Luke 24:27, 44 NRSV).

Opening our minds “to understand the scriptures” is our privilege as we explore the sites, the lands, and the Bible text to learn more about the promise of God’s saving love, which the Messiah was to bring.

Description

Each of the 12 webinars in this virtual tour of the Holy Lands series explores a different historical place in Israel and the Biblical figures who lived there. The tour follows the itinerary Madelon uses when taking in-person groups there. Each webinar is approximately one hour.
