FREEDOM

Those immortal words that Thomas Jefferson would later capture in the Declaration of Independence held ‘self-evident truths’ grounded in Biblical principles: that all men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.”

Listen to more about what the Bible has to teach us about Freedom.

Thank you Madelon, wonderful tying together of Moses’ deliverance, Jesus’ resurrection, and our country’s founding, all expressing liberty! Great noting the Liberty Bell too, with its inscription. Happy 4th, everyone!

A complete freedom is exactly, what being made in the image and likeness of God means. This includes; before, during and after, our human experience.

Thank you Madelon. This vlog (all the others too) was a wonderful trip through Bible examples of getting & maintaining & appreciating “Freedom” from a spiritual perspective. Although I love seeing you speak to us, I printed out the transcription of your vlog and re-read it…probably many more times too. I’m very grateful to you for your great sharings.

Thank you, Madelon, for this lovely view of the arc of freedom found in the Bible! It struck me once what an amazing gift and representation of freedom the Fourth Commandment was for the Hebrew people, giving these newly freed slaves, who had probably worked daily, the gift of a day off and to be able to give it back by using it to express their love for God.

Thank you for your beautifully written, thought provoking July Vlog on liberty. It is abundantly clear that creating & leading the Bible Roads community is your true calling. You workshops and rich Biblical resources are helping me to become more fully alive in Christ.

That was a wonderful and enlightened presentation. It was helpful in reminding me to stay founded on the rock of Biblical promise and truth about the spiritual freedom of all mankind. Thank you!
