What the Bible can teach us about love

February provides a good excuse to dig into what the Bible tells us of love. With Valentine’s Day and its symbols of romantic love, such as candy, hearts, and flowers on the horizon, it’s a perfect opportunity to see what the Bible can teach us about love —love that may include romance but also goes well beyond it.

Many thanks indeed for this timely and spiritual message about love that embraces others unconditionally. I love the hymn by Mary Baker Eddy that has the line “His arm encircles me and mine and all.” I like to think of God as Father-Mother so this could also be “Her arm”. 💜

I really like Henry Drummond’s The Greatest Thing in the World
It unpacks this chapter well. I believe Mary Baker Eddy considered it a thorough thesis on love Much love to you Madelon and all.
