All Roads Lead to Love

Rembrandt painting of the shepherds at the nativity

December leads us to Christmas.  Christmas leads us to Christ Jesus.  Christ Jesus leads us to love.  It is that simple.  In the end, all roads lead to love.

Recent events have underscored this in new ways.

What we celebrate this month is the life of Jesus of Nazareth that ministered, blessed, healed, taught, and reinforced in so many ways –to men, women and children–that love is what matters.

What we also celebrate is the living Christ that is the light that leads us through the darkness, buoys us when we seem to be sinking in our own seas of fear, and comforts us to see there are always new ways to love.

May this Christmas season reveal the love that is always there to feed you, bless you, and reveal how much love you in turn have to give to a world so hungry to receive it.

“Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
(John 14:23)

All roads lead to love.

A blessed Christmas to each of you, my friends,
Madelon
