About Madelon Maupin

Madelon Maupin brings a unique blend of experience in journalism, business leadership, and biblical scholarship to her work as an author and educator of the Bible. A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, she earned her B.A. from Principia College and later completed a Master of Theological Studies from San Francisco Theological Seminary.

Her early career was in the newspaper industry, where she held leadership roles at The Christian Science Monitor, The San Jose Business Journal, and The San Francisco Business Journal. She also co-founded several publications, including Orange County Business Week and The China Western Business Journal in Hong Kong.

Madelon went on to build an international career in leadership consulting, founding Milestones, Inc. in Los Angeles and working with global companies such as Paramount, Universal Studios, DreamWorks, Sony, HBO, Toyota, and The Getty. She partnered with executives and creative leaders across the entertainment and high-tech industries for more than two decades.

In 2012, Madelon returned to her lifelong passion—the study and teaching of the Bible—by founding BibleRoads, a biblical education company dedicated to serving spiritual seekers of all backgrounds. Through BibleRoads, she has developed an extensive library of talks, streaming courses, study guides, and webinars, engaging individuals and groups worldwide. Each year, she leads in-depth virtual studies on themes such as Paul’s letters, A Virtual Tour of Israel, Isaiah, and Women of the Bible.

Her first book, “Free and Fearless: Life and Leadership Lessons from Women of the Bible” (Friendship Press, 2025), hit #1 on Amazon in its Christian category.  She draws on decades of study, teaching, and experience to bring fresh insight into timeless biblical stories and their relevance today.
